Day 4 - Singapore

It was a long hot day at Universal Studios today. We were picked out of the crowd in the waiting line this morning to be first family of the day so we got to sit in an air conditioned room and wait and then were introduced to the whole crowd and given a free family photo. We felt pretty special! 😂
Although it wasn't nearly as crowded as the one we went to in Japan, I was so glad we bought the Express pass because we never had to wait more than 10 mins for a ride. We went on all the rides multiple times. Charlie's favourite was the 3D transformers ride which was really cool but made Steve and I feel sooo sick! Lockies favourite was The Revenge of the Mummy until he finally plucked up the courage to go on the big roller coasters and then he was hooked! Steve and I took turns taking him on so by the end of the day we were suffering from  some serious heat stroke and motion sickness! It was such a hot day for us, we were constantly popping into shops just to get some air conditioning. And the theatre shows were a great way to escape the heat!
We got back to the hotel at 5 and I took the kids for a swim while Steve had a rest. At 6.30 we walked down to Clarke Quay and had a quick dinner before boarding a small boat which cruised around the river and down to Marina Bay Sands where we watched the light show again from the boat. It was a beautiful scene. We were all exhausted after that so we headed back to the hotel for bed. Tomorrow is a sleep in day which will be good.
